On a warm spring evening, we took over the Queen of Hoxton’s basement to host an evening of inspiring conversation with visual artist Tony Gum, ahead of her exhibition at Photo London. The conversation was moderated by Roundtable Journal founder and editor-in-chief Wase Aguele. Together, to a room full of over 60 guests, they orchestrated an insightful discussion that covered everything from Tony’s formidable body of work, the experiences that have shaped her perspective, and advice on how to make it as a young artist working today. The Q&A was followed by wine, more great chats, and dancing to a DJ set by the wonderful Aletha Vandross.
