About Roundtable – the journal & community

Roundtable is a community (we host cool events for women) & annual print journal exploring self, art, womanism and more, all told through an intelligent, authentic voice. Featuring candid conversations with trailblazing women, compelling articles on contemporary society, humorous anecdotes and bold photography, Roundtable Journal is a reflective, thought-provoking read. Each issue is 200 pages dedicated to representation and starting nuanced conversation.

Roundtable was started in 2017 by a group of young women who decided to create the sort of publication they wanted to read, and the kind of events they wanted to be a part of.

We’re open to all – join us here.

ZOE Alakija, Creative Director / Founding Member Zoe is only slightly obsessed with creating. ISABEL Webb, Contributor Walking the sartorial line between ironic and insane, Bella is probably drinking from a ‘Fizz Khalifa’ cup and preaching Betty Friedan right now. Writing for the sake of sanity, she's trying to stay afloat in the Big Smoke. @bellalouisew

SARAH Adler, Contributor Sarah is currently pursuing a B.A. in English and creative writing at UC Berkeley. Although she's an infamous control freak when it comes to picking movies, she’s always up to try some new food (even though she prefers Mexican). If you want to discuss Bon Iver, literary theory or vinyasa yoga, she's your girl. @sadgirll123
