About Roundtable Journal
Roundtable is a biannual print journal & blog exploring self, art, politics, womanism and more, all told through an intelligent, authentic voice. Featuring candid conversations with amazing women, compelling articles on contemporary society, humorous anecdotes and bold photography, Roundtable Journal is a reflective, thought-provoking read.
Roundtable was started in 2017 by a group of young women who decided to create the sort of publication they wanted to read.
Each issue is 200 pages dedicated to representation, starting conversations and portraying women authentically.

Meet the RT Team
WASE Aguele, Editor-in-Chief / Founder
Wase likes poetry books, ratchet reality TV and cooking. When she’s not working on Roundtable, she does freelance writing and marketing for other publications. Despite everything, she wishes she had more time to pursue a robust a career as an Instagram influencer. @wase_aguele
NICOLLE Nyariri, Head of Marketing / Founding Member
Nicolle loves watching other people being petty, and sometimes commits random acts of pettiness herself. She currently lives and works in Miami but hopes to retire to a luxury Villa in Tuscany at 30. @nicollekimberly
ZOE Alakija, Creative Director / Founding Member
Zoe is only slightly obsessed with creating. Her average day is spent painting in overalls with a wine glass in hand, listening to Frank Ocean and/or gushing over Salvador Dali. She’s currently studying for a M.A. in Creative Entrepreneurship. @zoealakija
ISABEL Webb, Features Editor
Walking the sartorial line between ironic and insane, Bella is probably drinking from a ‘Fizz Khalifa’ cup and preaching Betty Friedan right now. Writing for the sake of sanity, she's trying to stay afloat in the Big Smoke. @bellalouisew
SARAH Adler, Online Content Editor
Sarah is currently pursuing a B.A. in English and creative writing at UC Berkeley. Although she's an infamous control freak when it comes to picking movies, she’s always up to try some new food (even though she prefers Mexican). If you want to discuss Bon Iver, literary theory or vinyasa yoga, she's your girl. @sadgirll123
